Music Plus Sport is an innovative music promoter specialising in large-scale concerts at sport events. Since our beginnings in 2013, we have successfully promoted over 200 concerts attended by 2 million music and sport fans across the UK.
Music Plus Sport operates a number of live music brands including the hugely successful venture The Jockey Club Live, as well as summer events at Motor Sport Circuits, Rugby Stadiums and Cricket Grounds.
We also offer Financial, Marketing & PR, Production and Talent Booking services.

Simon Halden

Simon has over 25 years experience in the advertising and media industry, with particular expertise in sport and music rights development, sponsorship and event management.
Previously Simon co-founded Sports & Outdoor Media International PLC and the Frontiers Group in the UK, both of which were successfully sold to AIM listed companies for a combined enterprise value of £72 million.
In late 2013 he co-founded Music + Sport with his business partner Andrew Wilkinson. ‘The Jockey Club Live’ was subsequently launched by Music+Sport in 2014 as a partnership with Jockey Club Racecourses Ltd (the largest commercial group in British horseracing) to secure, promote and produce music and other forms of live entertainment at the Jockey Club’s 15 well-known racecourse venues nationwide and to cement it’s position as one of the largest music promoters in the UK.
More recently Music+Sport has strengthened its position as the market leader in the sports and music sector. Through new partnerships at Newbury and York racecourses, along with other sports including rugby (Harlequins and Gloucester in England and Scarlets in Wales), motor sport (Donington Park) and cricket (The Ageas Bowl). These venues have featured major pop acts including Jess Glynne, Little Mix and Olly Murs.
As well as having a passion for music Simon is a sports lover with a particular passion for rugby, football and cycling and is involved in a number of high profile charitable organisations.

With a background in chartered accountancy and merchant banking Andrew is the founder of a number of successful ventures in the music industry, the most high profile of these being the Kingstreet Group of companies, which is best known as the live touring producer for many major artists including Pink Floyd, Genesis, Elton John, Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, Shakira and others.
Andrew has been involved in the music industry throughout his 40-year career and is a onetime partner of Prince Rupert Loewenstein, managing the financial and business affairs for the Rolling Stones.
In late 2013 he co-founded Music + Sport with his business partner Simon Halden. ‘The Jockey Club Live’ was subsequently launched by Music+Sport in 2014 as a partnership with Jockey Club Racecourses Ltd (the largest commercial group in British horseracing) to secure, promote and produce music and other forms of live entertainment at the Jockey Club’s 15 well-known racecourse venues nationwide and to cement it’s position as one of the largest music promoters in the UK.
More recently Music+Sport has strengthened its position as the market leader in the sports and music sector. Alongside his interests in the music industry Andrew is also a member of the fundraising committee and a former treasurer of Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy, a Charity that uses music in the treatment and care of autistic children.
He also has a passion for historic motorsport and is director of Wincanton Racecourse.

Tim Clark is a founding partner, along with David Enthoven, of ie:music, the artist management company that represents Gin Wigmore, Hero Fisher, Ladyhawke, Lance Ferguson, Lemar, Robbie Williams, Passenger and Will Young, amongst others. ie:sports is a new and exciting venture for them both.
He started his career at Island Records, the label founded by his mentor, the legendary Chris Blackwell. He has been fortunate to work with some of the greatest artists of the past 45 years, including Bob Marley, Free, King Crimson, Nick Drake, Roxy Music, Cat Stevens, Massive Attack and, of course, Robbie Williams.
Tim is widely respected throughout the music industry for his innovative approach to music management and his support of digital media.

Will became a member of the Music + Sport team in 2015 following the completion of his degree in Accountancy and Finance. He has since qualified as a chartered accountant and was appointed Finance Director for Music + Sport during the Summer of 2019.
A musician, rugby supporter and live music fan, Will brings enthusiasm and ambition to the team.

Having grown up in the Middle East and worked extensively in Europe and Australia, Emma is a highly experienced marketeer with a strong background in digital marketing and branding.
Her event experience comes from working for high profile radio and entertainment brands including Absolute Radio and Ibiza Rocks Group.

Chloe has worked in live music for 18 years and joined Music Plus Sport after a decade working at Festival Republic where she was the Event Manager for two of the UK's largest music festivals (Latitude & Leeds).
Chloe has also delivered various other projects including the BBC R2 & Proms in Hyde Park, AIG Women’s Open as well as the UEFA Champions League Final in Madrid.
Being involved in events is more than a job for Chloe, it’s her passion! Her natural enthusiasm, meticulous organisational skills and love for music are the perfect combination to lead our Event Production team.

With a degree in Accounting and Finance and a passion for live music, Kate is thrilled to be a part of the Music + Sport team and is looking forward to completing
her ACCA qualification.
After multiple internships within financial services Kate has a keen eye for detail and a creative approach to problem solving.
Kate was Social Secretary of Women’s Rugby at university, has run multiple half marathons and is an avid sports fan. With any remaining free time, you’ll be sure to find her at a music venue, watching one of her favourite artists.

With a degree in Music Business and Innovation and successfully completing Music Plus Sport’s Marketing Internship Program, Megan has a strong background in Music Event Marketing.
Previously interning with Chuff Media regarding public relations and a summer on site for The Jockey Club Live, she has experience working on all aspects of an event.
As well as her love of music, Megan is also an avid sports fan with a keen interest in cars – having previously worked for Everyman Racing.

Artist Booker
P-C has worked in live music for twenty years and joined Music Plus Sport following a decade of service at Slottsfjell in Norway – the second biggest festival in that territory. He was responsible for booking international acts across the entire genre spectrum including the likes of New Order, Diplo, Erasure, The 1975, Kendrick Lamar and The Lumineers.
He also runs the British Music Embassy at South by Southwest Music Festival showcase in Texas, which is the official UK venue at the event and has his ear close to the ground when it comes to spotting emerging talent.
